Dr. Jon Rash (Part Time At SANSA)

Lovely day with our guest speaker, Dr. Jon Rash, who spent 1975 at the SANAE base and got to know the importance of radio amateurs.

He Was member of the expedition for Rhodes University ( ionosonde) Got his PhD in ‘oblique incidence sounding” , involved in various aspects of the UNDN ( now UKZN) space physics program, and currently part time at SANSA as space weather researcher.
